Recipe Directions

In blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour into large white dinner napkin and strain. Alternately run all ingredients through juicer (see Juice Yields page for produce equivalents) - you may need to add up to 1/2 c water to the base.

Yield: About 2 quarts.

Poemomm's Thoughts

By poemomm

My seven year old declared that this base "tastes like soup" - and he's right. It tastes very much like bouillon and will provide much needed sodium to your daily intake. This juice can stand alone or be used as a base in savory juice combinations. This makes enough for 2 days worth of Savory Juice Base. See my Juice Yields page to estimate how much produce you'll need. Because this has tomato in it, count half the volume of this toward Green Juices and half toward Colored Juices if juice feasting.
