Recipe Directions

grind coconut in what ever you have to make rice sized bits, peel and slice mango and arrange over coconut. make sause by blending soaked nuts, liquid( water or coco water) syrup and vanilla until smooth. drizzle this over mango and “rice” decorate with sesame seeds and viola!

Omshanti's Thoughts

I LOVE thai food, and mango and sticky rice is one of my favs so i had to make a raw version for myself…If you hate coconut maybe use the nut pulp from the sause making? the texture would be a bit dry then but if you mixed the sause with the pulp it would be close. In the nonraw version its thai sticky rice…

This recipe looks fabulous! Can I also use cashews in place of macadamias with a similar flavor/ I might also try a very sweet ripe banana blended in place of agave for a truly tropical sensation! Maybe some juicy chopped papaya with the mango and coconut, too! Yum!

This sounds really good. I would probably add red pepper and cilantro but I would have never thought of this so thanks a lot!.
