Recipe Directions

1. Throw everything but the chia and pistachios in the Vitamix and blend until it's yellow and liquefied.

2. Put chia seeds in a big bowl. Pour saffron 'milk' over the chia and stir.

3. Refrigerate about an hour or overnight.

4. Garnish with pistachios (rose petals could be used, too) and eat.

I share your sentiments for Indian sweets :) The fact that this is so high in omega 3's doesn't exactly weaken the appeal :D
