Recipe Directions

1. Combine nuts, buckwheaties, date paste, shredded coconut, and raisins and mix well.

2. Form into bars and place on a Teflex sheet.

3. In a different bowl, make the carob sauce with carob, coconut oil, and the sweetener. Just enough to cover the bars.

4. Pour the sauce over them and put on the dehydrator. Dehydrate until dry, for about 20 hours or so, flipping halfway through.

Notes:

I am not sure about the measurements, since I just threw everything I had in a bowl. But you can adjust everything to your taste.

To keep them crunchy, store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Carlamartins's Thoughts

By carlamartins

I was experimenting and I made a huge mess.

I thought it was going to taste weird and it turned out to be awesome, even though it doesn’t look that good!
