Yield
1 cup
Ingredients
3/4 pound cherry tomatoes
1-2 tsp dried basil
1 tbs honey (or sub agave or brown sugar)
1 tsp oregano
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
A few sun-dried tomatoes, soaked
2 tbs raw agave nectar
plenty of salt and pepper
Recipe Directions
Blend everything and enjoy!
(add more sun dried tomatoes if it is too watery)

Tomato Sauce/ Ketchup
You can use dates (blended with a bit of water) instead of the agave/honey to make this totally raw vegan (since agave can't actually be raw, even if it says it is).
And yeah, I use all dried tomatoes usually, since I like a very strong flavor and thick texture to my ketchup. Though if I have some fresh picked on hand I do sometimes add them. I'm making some today, in fact, to go with my pizza crackers (leftover walnut/pecan paste from making nut milk, plus nutritional yeast (alas, not raw), and basil and salt). Yum!
