Raw chocolate fudge in 1 minute
Posted in: Raw Chocolates, Balls and Candies, Raw Nut-Free Sweet Recipes
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons coconut oil
2 teaspoons honey
Directions
1. Throw the ingredients in a tiny bowl.
2. Grab a spoon and take the bowl back to your TV.
3. Mix it together while you're watching TV because it can take a little while to mix properly, especially if your coconut oil is hard. It'll look really dry at first, but don't add any extra anything. Just go with my measurements and mix it together slowly and carefully with a spoon. Within a minute you'll get the texture seen in my above pic.
4. Enjoy!
This raw chocolate fudge is really sweet so you don't need much of it to get a nice hit of sweet chocolate flavour. This recipe reminds me of my tiny raw halvah recipe, actually, since they are both tiny sweet snacks you can pull together very quickly.
The Rawtarian's Thoughts
Picture this... You've just had dinner. You're watching TV on the couch. Your non-raw husband pulls out a little chocolate bar beside you, and you wish you could have a little taste of chocolate too. What do you do? You run into the kitchen and make my 1 minute raw chocolate fudge, that's what!
It's so quick that you can do it in a commercial break, and...it only requires three ingredients.
You'll notice that this is makes a very tiny serving size, so you'll want to make it in a tiny bowl so that you can stir it properly against the sides of the bowl. I use little tiny custard bowls.

The recipe is absolutely delicious! I love it! I used organic organic cacao powder instead of cocoa and it was too rich and dark, still amazing though! A question about the texture, just out of curiosity: mine turned out to be like very thick dough, it's slimy and not crumbly like in your photo. is this normal?
Thanks!

Next time you probably just want to add a tiny bit less coconut oil - or a bit more cocoa.

Just made this and I admit it is very tasty, but I find it a bit too sweet. Think next time (and there'll definitely be a next time) I'll add a bit less honey and taste as I go. I can imagine that some chopped cashew nuts or hazel nuts would take this to another level. Great to know when that inevitable chocolate urge hits, I have all the ingredients handy.
Loving your site so far - thank you <3

Hmmmmm... Not really worth the "1 minute" it was meant to take (it took 10 - 20 mins for me) I really didn't like the taste very much either! Or the consistency it was much too oily and sticky, even though I put the exact amounts it said on screen I must have done something wrong. It was much too difficult to stir and the coconut oil just stayed in clumps and wouldn't melt, so I ended up having to squish it and stir it with my hands! I might be the first person on here that hasn't absolutely adored this recipe! Maybe I'll give it another go sometime. (No offence!) I will definitely be trying some more of your other recipes though! Everything sounds gorgeous! Sorry if I offended anyone! x

This recipe is quick and tasty. I would definitely recommend. Heating the coconut oil a little to put it back to liquid helps a lot.

Perhaps I made this wrong but it didn't come out sweet at all. I had to add extra.honey to make it like a dark dark chocolate. Suggestions?

Can you use cacao powder instead? Is there a difference between 'cacao' and 'cocoa'?

Hi Lizzie, either is fine, but as Dodi mentioned below raw cacao is raw but cocoa powder has been heated so is not raw.

I always make this as a quick snack. I use raw agave. And cacao is raw, cocoa is not.

Okay, this was off the charts last night. Had a serious sweet tooth and it worked to quell it! I don't use honey, and my agave had expired, so I used organic light corn syrup and it was perfect! Thank you!

Hi S, This one is probably the most "instant" recipe (since it literally takes minutes and no equipment).
But these haystacks are easy and they don't require any equipment. https://www.therawtarian.com/raw-chocolate-haystacks
If you have a food processor this raw chite chocoloate is easy, and brownies are easy too.

I just read the comments about you using honey in your recipes. I notice that in most recipes you do provide alternative natural sweeteners. Unprocessed or raw organic honey is very nutritious, I love it and prefer to use it over other processed natural sweeteners. Please keep doing what your doing, your website and recipes are great!

Hi Sissy, Thanks! I too find that using raw, unprocessed honey (locally made, just down the road from me!) is a much better sweetener for me and my family. I have received a lot of criticism (even by a book publisher, in fact!) because it's not vegan, but to me it's not quite the same thing as eating lamp chops!

DAMN. I'm living in a small island off the coast of Madagascar and have no access to a real kitchen, but stumbled across some cocao powder and have been browsing no bake recipes like crazy. I could not be happier with this! That being said, halfway through it got to be too much (I had no milk, nut or otherwise, to go with it) -- but I added a TSP of strawberry preserves which turned it into a delicious pudding sort of thing. Can't wait to use it as a cake-topper... one day! Cheers.
