1 small lemon
6 ounce fresh cranberries
1 peeled banana
sweetener of choice (I use agave nectar)
water to cover
Cut the pointed ends off of the lemon. Cut the lemon into four pieces, put it it the blender (un-peeled). Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. I’ve made this smoothie with and without ice blended in. It’s great both ways. I think that this would be festive when served in a martini glass, garnished with a skewer of cranberies and/or a sprig of mint. It has a beautiful pink color and a fantastic taste.
