I love my kale but sometimes the smoothies are a bit harsh. To make this “sweetie,” the kiwi helps out! Real simple and real yummy. Add ice cubes to keep it cool in summer.

1 serving in a 20 ounce glass

1 kiwi fruit (peeled, cut)
3 large kale leaves (stalks cut off)
1 cup water
Handful of salad greens (the darker, the better)
1 banana (peeled, cut)
Recipe Directions
1. Throw everything in a blender.
2. Blend.

This turned out pretty good. I added spinach as my salad greens. Next time I think I'll add ice to it too. I prefer my smoothies cold.
