Yieldserves about 2-4, depending on the serving size
a few big leaves kale
three celery stalks
one beet with leaves
half a lemon
2 large handfuls spinach
one sweet apple, I like red delicious
generous handful of flaxseed
big bunch of parsley
large bunch dandelion greens
enough water to liquify, start with about a cup
Chop the apple, celery and beet into smallish pieces into a blender.
Squeeze the lemon into the blender until all the juice is gone, or just peel and add. Add the cup of water and the flax.
Then stuff all of the greens in and blend it up. Pour into glasses and enjoy!!!! Yummy!!!!

This is the best green smoothie I have ever had!!!! I just wanted to share it with you all so you could enjoy it too. It actually comes out a lovely purple-ish color. If it isn’t sweet enough you can add honey or something. I’m sure many of you drink something like this often, but I just wanted to share my variation, (also since some people were asking for lighter recipes) well here’s mine, anyway. I hope you like!!!!!
