layladebloody, yes, you can easily replace the buckweat with any seeds or nuts you like. Sprouted Sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds will work great here! Or you can try avocado guacamole type souse.

I hope you know how impressive this is... five stars from here to the moon. This would be perfect for a party. It reminds me of a green version of a deviled egg platter! Bravo!

I can't eat grains but this sounds really good...do you know a good replacement for the buckwheat?

i also tend to stay away from grains, just a preference, but buckwheat is technically a fruit :)
