Recipe Directions
1. Place the almonds in your food processor and process until the almonds resemble graham cracker crumbs. This took me about 3 minutes.
2. Add the dates, salt, vanilla, and optional zest and process until the mixture comes together (about 2 minutes or less).
3. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a springform pan.
Poemomm's Thoughts
By poemomm This is not actually a graham cracker crust. Because, as you may know, graham crackers are not raw.
But it is a very close imitation when used for cool things like cheesecake and fake samoas. Oh yeah!
