Yield
Serves 1-2 happy people
Ingredients
1 ripe avocado (sliced)
1 large handful of spinach (more or less; rinsed)
3 to 5 fresh oranges (peeled)
Recipe Directions
1. Once you have the avocado sliced, the spinach rinsed, and the oranges peeled, turn on your blender and add the oranges (leave the skin and seeds – they are good for you! ;) ).
2. Once the oranges are all juicy, slowly add the spinach piece by piece.
3. Once all of the spinach is added and blended, slowly add chunks of avocado.
4. When creamy, pour into glass(es) and enjoy!
Coconut dream's Thoughts

This smoothie is creamy and sweet, but it still has the greens that you need! This is one of my absolute favorite shakes.
This drink makes a fabulous breakfast or meal replacement. It really fills me up.
If you have a hard time with the bitterness of greens, add more oranges for a sweeter taste.
This smoothie is okay to make without a fancy high speed blender (I’m living proof:) ) However, if you do have a Vitamix, I’m sure you could just throw in all of the ingredients and voila!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

If I'm looking to make a big batch of this, how long does it last in the fridge?

It is kind of thick depending on how many oranges you use... I usually use 5 or 6. I call it a smoothie because I drink it out of a glass. You could call it a soup and eat it with a spoon though. :D

Is this super thick? Do you add water or ice? It almost seems like a soup to me. Thanks!

I'm not talking about the peel! I said right in the instructions "peeled" oranges
I'm just taking about the thin white skin/seeds to leave AFTER being peeled! :D
