Ingredients
1 large apple (unpeeled)
1 tablespoon ground up flax seeds
½ cup really raw oatmeal (rolled oats)
1 stevia packet (or a couple dates)
cinnamon to taste
1 pinch nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
sprinkle a few chopped walnuts (optional), leave out for lower fat!
Recipe Directions
1. Soak the oats with warm water for about 20 minutes or so.
2. Process everything together in a food processor except the walnuts.
3. Sprinkle walnuts on top if you choose to use them.

By JoyceH A nice lighter breakfast for the weekends or anytime.
I use Alissa Cohen’s really raw oats and they are nice raw and amazing if you do cook them once in a while. This raw version is perfect when having cravings for a good old fashioned bowl of oatmeal.
This concoction is similar to my cooked version of oatmeal before I went raw.
