YieldMakes 16 Burgers (depending on the size)
2 large carrots
2 cups mushrooms
½ cup cauliflower
1 cup black olives, (sliced)
½ cup olive oil
½ cup Macadamia nuts
¼ cup almond meal
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon pepper (ground)
1. Everything goes in the food processor. Blend and pulse away until you get a really good ‘wet’ consistency (use more olive oil if you have to).
2. I use an egg ring to get the perfect shape. I put the egg ring on top of a Teflex sheet on the mesh tray, then dollop 1 large dessert spoon full of the mixture in it and press it in and fill a little more if needed.
3. When all the mixture is used put the tray in the Excalibur Dehydrator on 105 – 110.
4. It takes 12 – 18 hours depending on how you want your end product.
