Raymond's Thoughts

By Raymond

This is a quick and tasty guacamole.

You can make it in 15 minutes, and your friends won’t even know it’s raw.

You can serve this as a salad, a chunky dip, or you can mash it up smooth and add water, and use as a salad dressing.

Tip: Instead of cayenne, you could mince in some fresh hot chilis.

Groovy Guacamole

This recipe is awesome! Thank you!

I would like to share with everybody the new product that I bought online. I found out about this new and easy product called a Salsa Master or something like that. It was so cheap and it makes preparing raw foods ten times easier! I used it for this recipe instead of the fork method and it made it even more delicious! Its a non-electric device that is hand operated and very easy to clean... one of those kitchen miracles!

I found the link if anyone of you were interested:

I agree. This is the best gwock I've had in a long time. (I used limes as we were out of the lemon...it was great.)

I thought cilantro were the leaves and coriander the seeds...?

betty boop, cilantro is another name for corriander...maybe you have corriander? but for guacamole recipes (and probably any recipe that calls for cilantro specifically), use the leaves, not the seed

Hello, I would like to make this this evening, but I do not know what cilantro is. I live in Holland, can anyone tell me please, so that I can buy it at the store.

Nagev...I think some people use a roasted salsa in their guac recipes, some use sour cream...cheese...people get mighty creative heheh..

So freaking good! I am another picky eater, and I was able to consume all of this. I left out the cayenne, but it was still sooo yummy.

This is so FANTASTIC. I added a bit of lime juice and a touch of coriander. Since I put in too much lemon (and lime), I countered the over-tartness by adding creamed cashews (just soaked in water and then puréed) and a little agave. Stirred it all together and voilà! Just FANTASTIC. Thank you.

I am very picky when it comes to guac. I have tried many versions and this is by far the best. I ate it all and wanted more!

This is delicious! We didn't do the cayenne because of a 5 year-old's tastebuds, added a pinch more salt, and believe me, we gobbled it up :)

I thought all guacamoles were raw. What do they do to the cooked ones?

We had this again the other day... I'd forgotten how spicy it is! It's really the best raw guacamole I've had...

I usually just slice an avocado on tacos, but this was so easy to make I decided to try it. Glad I did! I made half the recipe and it was just enough for a taco dinner for two.
