whoa. intense....ly amazing! :) I myself prefer things without honey...what if you put some sort of dried fruit in the middle to add that sweetness factor? Like Turkish apricots or prunes or dates? mmmmm.

Good point ambiguous! The first time I made these I put an almond in the center of the balls, but I think I forgot the second time. THat would explain why my husband liked them! LOL. I am going to update the recipe. THanks.

Am I missing almond? Or is this really more like Mounds ;) Love chocolate and coconut together, thanks for the recipe.
Oh, and I'd bet that dates (or apricots or figs) blended with a little water would be a good honey substitute here . . .
