Oh my god, that looks way better than the boring butternut squash soup I'm having. I'm gonna make this SOON. Wow. though I'll leave out the garlic & add more cinnamon & nutmeg. (I'm a bit fiend-y for those spices)

I just made this, warmed it slightly and added miso. I also topped it with olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper, and shaved raw parmesan (sorry, not vegan). I thought the miso added a nice depth to the soup. Anyway, nice recipe! I can still taste the garlic :)

Butternut Squash Soup
This is very hot!! Cut back on the cayanne pepper or do without. We keep adding squash and almond milk in an attempt to cut the heat. Other than that this is pretty good. The pumpkin pie spice was a bit too cinnaminy.

I've seen a few squash soup recipes, but never with the addition of oranges & it sounds amazing! Definitely trying this soon. And I'm with you ... I love garlic! Thanks for sharing. :)

With the garlic, it is a bit of an acquired taste. I put garlic in EVERYthing! Haha Maybe that's why I have such a hard time finding a boyfriend... =P
