Thanks for this. I was wondering where I was going to find a raw butter recipe and this one looks great.

I mean the coconut meat, not the juice.

OOPS, you only need ONE tsp of Celtic Sea Salt, it double printed for some reason!

I didn't know there was such a variety of coconuts and flax seed oil. I suspect that the reason it didn't turn out well is because of the ingredients. I will change my star rating of it to 5 as I am sure it will be all it says it is.

Thanks. I have just gone through the entire recipe list and found the information about young coconuts. I haven't had an answer from the one who posted this recipe yet, but I suspect that she uses young coconuts. I have never heard of them before so I used the old ones. I read that you can just spoon out the flesh with a spoon with the baby ones. I hope that someone replies soon to verify this.

I have just made this and I must have done something wrong. It was bitty and it tasted of the flaxseed oil. Is flax seed oil meant to be sharp tasting.

When you say coconut pulp, do you mean the leftovers after you have made coconut milk or is it the meat blended into pulp?

I have been working on creating a "butter" recipe myself recently... I will have to try this one. Thanks!
