Yield
A bakers dozen
Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup buckwheat (soaked, dehydrated)
1 cup raw oats (ground)
Approximately ½ cup maple syrup
Recipe Directions
1. Grind the buckwheat and oats lightly in the food processor.
2. Mix it all up by hand and make balls flattened into cookies.
3. Dehydrate them for about 4 hours. I left one in for the day. It was crumbly when I bit into it but real peanuty! Yum.
Omshanti's Thoughts
By omshantiSo I saw the recipe for Sweetpeas's crunch cookies here on the site.
I got my heirloom peanuts the other day, and wanted to practice with making my own nut butters.
Guess what happened? Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies!

Sounds yummy but I can't eat peanuts. These would also be great to try using hemp seeds as they are really crunchy.

She means the Wild Jungle Peanuts that you can buy from David Wolfes site. You also can buy Jungle Peanuts in Butter now. David Wolfe just started offering it on his site if you don't want to make it your self. www.sunfood.com. I wish I had the raw oats than I could make these.
