Hi. I first became a vegan in 2009 and have known since about 2012 when I discovered 80/10/10 that raw is the way to go. In 2015 I married my first love from 8th grade and I was supposed to make him healthier but it went the opposite… first I started eating meat and then I started shooting heroine, no joke. In 2017 I was able to remove myself from that life and enter into recovery. I’ve been sober since then but still working on my habit of toxic relationships. I haven’t gone back to eating fully plant-based again, either, but I want to, and I do my best to buy all vegan and organic products and food. I do raw challenges- the longest I’ve done is 30 days. I water fast, too- the longest I’ve done is 10 days. I like to do 16:8 intermittent fasting, as well. No one close to me eats plants like I do and especially mostly raw, it’s way out of the norm. I think it will be helpful to have support through a community because I feel alone in this but I know I’m not. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories and supporting and encouraging each other and sharing tips and positivity and whatever! Also, I’m big into affirmations, therapy, journaling, meditating, stretching, taking walks, hanging out on the beach or in the mountains. I work for a photography studio empowering women and I love my job. I’m single, in my mid-30’s, a mom of 2 and just doing my best to be balanced and integrated.
