1 small or medium banana
Honey dew melon
1 cup fresh mint (the more the merrier)
2 inch piece of fresh ginger root
3 Brazil nuts
Sprinkle of sunflower seeds
1 lemon (use half if you prefer less tang)
1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
1. Put banana, half a honeydew melon, a bunch or large handful of mint, ginger root, Brazil nuts, seeds, and half a lemon (flesh as well) into blender and blend for a while until a smooth creamy magic consistency appears.
2. Taste the smoothie to see in you want more lemon. Add the other half if so.
3. Add a little bit of honey or agave to taste. Blend again.
4. Pour into a large jar or other smoothie vessel and allow this yummy drink to soothe you.

This is so cooling and refreshing--I just had one and needed to share!
The slight creaminess from the Brazil nuts and sunflower seeds mixes perfectly with the mint-melon-lemon tang.
The use of a small amount honey or agave brings out the flavor of the melon. Be sure not to use too much!
