Yield16 oz filling smoothie
1/4 to 1/2 cup raw oats, soaked a few hrs
very large handful spinach or other dark green leafy veggies
handful blueberries or strawberries
1 ripe banana
1 cup hemp milk (or almond, etc)
1 tbsp chia powder/flax seed powder blend
handful walnuts and/or almonds
Soak oats for a few hrs to increase digestibility. Add all ingredients and put in blender until creamy. Add a bit more hemp milk or water if too thick. Enjoy!!!
(This pic isn’t the actual smoothie..my camera is not working…but it looks similar except for a bit of red from the blueberries)

Ok…I have been too busy to make anything else but smoothies in the morning and I’ve been needing an idea to get greens in my smoothie but still pack it with protein to make it filling. This smoothie was adapted from one i saw online. It is by far the most filling morning smoothie I have made and it’s awesome for those who want to get in greens but don’t want to taste them. The flaxseed, chia powder, walnuts make this very high in omega 3 protein. Banana sweetens it and takes away the taste of the greens. Sooooo filling and yummy! A great variation to my raw oatmeal smoothie.
