Ingredients
1 cup powdered oat groats
½ cup maple syrup, agave, or combo
½ cup almond butter or other nut butter
¼ cup cocoa powder
Sprinkle of salt
Recipe Directions
1. Powder oat groats in a high speed blender.
2. Mix with remaining ingredients.
3. Pour into a pan at least 1 inch thick (or more!).
4. Dehydrate 8 hours until top is crisp and you have a warm, soft brownie.
5. Plunk a scoop of raw vanilla ice cream on top! Or eat it right out of the bowl! Go ahead!
6. Get creative and add chocolate chunks, cayenne, coconut or chopped nuts on top.
Imagination!
Emilyjayne's Thoughts

I made the No-Bake Cookie recipe by MammaCassa from this site for lunch today.
As I'm munching, I thought if I powdered the oat groats, I would end up with a batter. Yummy!

Yahoo! And thanks for the 5 stars. :)
I ate this the past two nights on bananas. It's so good. I admit, I used maple syrup, which I don't usually do - but it's okay every now and again. I might pop them in the freezer, as they might be hard to release otherwise (if you've made them too wet.)
Good luck & enjoy!

Fudgy Oat Brownies
I give this a 5 star rating as it sounds so yummy!! Am on holidays now and don't have all the ingredients and tools to do this but look so forward to come home to some nice home made treats! Thanks for the great recipe :))
Don't get too much material here in St. Lucia but we managed to get by. Not as many fruits and vegetables we looked forward to, and not easy to get your hands on raw cocoa. Everything gets roasted before pressed into cocoa sticks.
Much more varieties on fruits and veggies in Mexico or some other islands. Strange thing here, people don't plant much of what they could. Anyway, we've had a great time, lovely island, wonderful and friendly people.
Thanks again for this yummy recipe, I'm craving it already :))
