Yield
2 large servings -
Equipment
None
Ingredients
4 large cabbage leaves, chopped to very thin short pieces
1 cup frozen organic peas and carrots
2 tablespoon water chestnuts, chopped
1½ tablespoon sesame oil
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon agave
½ teaspoon white pepper
½ teaspoon fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon nama shoyu
Recipe Directions
Roll the cabbage leaves and cut into strips about 1/8 inch wide and then cut in the other direction to about 1/4 for a “rice” look. Cut water chestnuts (used canned) into thin strips. Chop onions and ginger into very small pieces. Mix all ingredients including frozen peas and carrots (I used frozen store bought) , oil, and put it in the fridge for an hour. Serve room temp, cold or put in dehydrator for a few to warm. Add more agave if you like your “rice” with a lot of duck sauce.
I saw the other posted “fried rice” recipe but I didn’t have califlower or sunflower seeds. My 5-year-old loves this!

This was a great recipe! My 11 year old daughter even liked it. Thanks! I didn't use the water chestnuts because I've never liked them. It was stil wonderful. It was very crunchy and filling.
