All the goodness of gogi berries, flax seed, and avocado. Reminiscent of sweet apple sauce. I think this could be good with a pinch of cinnamon for a wintery smoothie. Just a pinch though, I wouldn't overdo it :)

an unripe banana eaten is just a matter of impatience :). a bananas got to be good and ripe, but not overripe, it has a one day frame from unripe to overripe, you have to get in there at the exact moment for banana heaven :)

MMM, unlovely bananas would make it taste like brussel sprouts with chocolate, try to use only the unleaded water and a bit is never enough and often too much

thanks caleb. the peel is good with it too tho, gives you a little bit more texture which makes it feel more satisfying to the mouth.

And it is good :) Thanks for the awesome recipe. I wasn't sure if the blender could handle the peels. Mine is kind of weird. I peeled it though before I saw your post. I'm definitely going to have to make this one more often, especially since it's so high calorie. :)

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude! This sounds amazing. But why just five goji berries? :) It looks like there were a lot more based on your pic. I think I'm going to have to make me one of these tonight.

ok goji berries do soften drastically when you soak them but if you have a powerful blender you dont need to, i dont soak mine for smoothies.
without banana this wouldnt be as sweet or thick but would prob still be delish, maybe add more agave or a sweet fruit in its place, more avocado would do the job of extra thickening
and annabelle, go wash your mouth out you naughty girl ;)

Well boys, if the unlovely bananas make the smoothie like brussel sprouts and chocolate, you could always use it to help with loving yourself... ew... ha!

Pinky! I have only unlovely bananas; will they work? What kind of water do you use? How much is "a bit"?

Mmm just in time, my bananas are almost overripe! I'll have to substitute the Goji berries for strawberries..I went all out on strawberries this season! :) Looks delish.

Wonder how this would be without the banana

Sounds good, even better since I have all those ingredients and might try it for breakfast tomorrow. Did you soak the gogi berries first or just throw them in? I find some are too hard(depending on brand) and don't blend well unless soaked.
