This is a pretty simple recipe… it’s so simple I almost feel like I’m wronging you by calling it a recipe. I had the spices around the house and always have flax seed. + I LOVE avocados. This Avocado-Flax love concoction idea sprouted after I found this simple-flaxy-love idea. Enjoy! :)

Recipe Directions

Combine the ground the flax seeds, salt, pepper, and spices. Cut an avocado in half and then into 1/2 of an inch thick slices. Press the avocado slices into the dry flax/herb mix and VOILA! A light, I-could-eat-this-forever food combination! I’m sure there are many other sliced vegetables that would be great pressed into the flax mix, I’m thinking about trying sliced zucchini and then dehydrating it.

I'm glad all of you like this, too!

pianissima: Until I just looked up that "evoo" meant extra virgin olive oil, I thought this was some kind of new food! What you ate sounds AMAZING.
