Serves 4
Ingredients
2 cups lentils (soaked overnight)
1 cup tamari
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 tablespoons water
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1 carrot (chopped)
1 pepper (chopped)
4 scallions (thinly sliced into rounds)
Sea salt (to taste)
Recipe Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Place in refrigerator until all the flavors blend.
3. Stir occasionally to help coat well.
Bdavis's Thoughts
By bdavis I’m not sure about white vinegar as a raw ingredient, so if you know of a substitute, feel free to use it.
The longer this sets, the better it tastes.

Hey Hippie chick, raw organic apple cider vinegar from any health food store is what you want!

This does look good and I was looking for some lentil recipes. But, I think I will sprout first as well.

Great winter food! But why not allow your lentils to sprout for a day or 2 before combining with everything else? Looking forward to trying this, perhaps with whole red lentils...

Sounds good, I will try it with sprouted lentils (easier to digest) and apple cyder vinegar.
