1 Large firm heirloom tomato, sliced
Raw tahini as much as you want
sprinkle Nutritional yeast, (optional)
sprinkle Sea salt to taste
Slice tomato in to about 1/4” thick round slices. Spread evenly on a large dish and drizzle with tahini (if the tahini is a little thick, loosen it up with some water or oil so that it will pour like dressing). Sprinkle nutritional yeast over the top to give it a little cheesy flavor. Add sea salt to your liking. I haven’t tried this any other way but it could be good with some other toppings too, give it a try and let me know how it goes~
This is like my new “junk food” since avocados are not so much in their prime this time of year. The denser the tomato, the hardier the dish feels and I like to use a tomato that is really firm to give a nice texture contrast. I call it nachos because it reminds me of coming home from school and making nachos in the microwave. Now that I live on my own and in college I make this!
