Joined August 28, 2010<p>hello</p> <p>I am an engineer and my most heartfelt passion is the love of all animals, even humans (although its hard to do that at times : ) However, I beleive every sentient living being should be able to live a care free, stress free life ,with love ,great food, freedom and to be able to experience the joy of a close family and caring society. I beleive that if we as a race can harness nuclear fusion on earth and clean up our planet, with the aid of incredible technology, one day it will be possible to find a way for all sentient life to live a happy existence ,free from unnecessary suffering. Unnecessary suffering is the pollution,animal and human experimentation,the chemicals in our food and even in our drinking water which cause all manner of decease and pain, War, famine enslavement and all the things that are really unnecessary as there are kind and wonderful alternatives . Through the love of not only friends and family, but of our neighbours and strangers that by chance we meet, we can we inspire ourselves to put greed to one side and have great trust with one another to place 'each others' health, happiness and survival at no.1.</p> <p>I have been veg for about 17 years, starting off as a vegetarian but was fooled into thinking the "suitable for vegetarians" slogan meant that the animals were treated kindly. : ( But the Internet helped me see the truth and I swiftly became vegan ( i was sad to part with the term vegetarian , i feel that has been stolen by the dairy industry) however going vegan was a magnificent choice, I joined this forum today because I just had my first raw green smoothie.: ) Do you know what a raw green smoothie is? search around youtube and you'll find some wonderful ways to help you eat raw greens in a new and interesting way.</p> <p>peace :)</p>
