I came into nutrition about ten years ago during my undergraduate studies; my interest in nutrition is using food as the first medicine to prevent and alleviate disease, and to find optimal health.</p> <p> </p> <p>I come into raw foods because raw foods are an essential aspect of anyone's diet. While I do not follow a 100% raw-food diet myself, I want to stay abreast of the latest and greatest in the raw foods community, so as to be able to share the most useful and up-to-date information with my clients and students.</p> <p> </p> <p>I also just love to cook with foods in season and grown in my local region. I love the challenge of creating new and delicious meals and recipes all year long. When I'm not cooking, I am likely outside, either running in the hills or woods, swimming in the nearest lake or ocean, or tending my garden (or helping someone tend their's!).</p> <p> </p> <p>I am excited to learn and share with you all in this forum!</p> <p> </p> <p>In great health & happy bellies,</p> <p>Natalie</p>
