for the crust 1. add the 2 cups of walnuts into a food processor and pulse till almost a powder 2. put the walnuts into a bowl an add the cinnamon salt and agave nectar 3. rub your pie pan with a little oil ( coconut oil ), and press out the mixture into the pie pan, just like a cheese cake crust 4. place in frig wile you make the cheese
for the cheese 1. soak the 2 1/2 cup cashews in water for 4 to 8 hours 2. place cashews in food processor with juice of lemon and pulse to a paste 3. put cashews into a bowl an mix with coconut oil, agave nectar and salt 4. mix well 5. pour mixture into the pie crust and place back into the frig for 6 to 8 hours to harden
honey cherry sause 1. mix 1/2 cup cherries with 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar 2. mash cherries with fork or blend till smooth

  • if the cheese seems liquidy dont worry it will set in the frig

This looks truly amazing. I've got some cherries in the freezer, I'm making this! I'm out of walnuts so I"m going to try pecans I think.

hey carrie6292, i have not tried it with other nuts yet but im sure that other nuts would work just fine... im thinking a more oily nut like a macadamien, or pine nuts, as long as you let them soak first anything would probably work fine! (:

this does sound good! Have you tried this with other nuts? I don't like to use Cashews unless i have to. Maybe a Pine Nut, Brazil Nut mix?

hmmm, I think there is something wrong with your ingredients? Several ingredients are listed 3+x. You might want to fix that.:)Otherwise, from what I can tell, it looks fantastic!
