YieldA bakers dozen, not counting the ones I ate as I "checked" them in the dehydrator!
1 cup homemade "jungle" peanut butter
1 cup buckwheat (soaked, dehydrated)
1 cup raw oats (ground)
½ cup maple syrup (or enough to get it all mixed together)
1. Grind the buckwheat and oats lightly in the food processor.
2. Mix it all up by hand and make balls flattened into cookies.
3. Dehydrate them for about 4 hours. I left one in for the day. It was crumbly when I bit into it but real peanuty! Yum.

So I saw the recipe for sweetpeas's crunch cookies here on the site and got my heirloom peanuts the other day and wanted to practice with making my own nut butters.
Guess what happened? Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies!
