Yield
Serves 1 hungry person, or share with a friend. Makes 6 cups
Ingredients
2 cup filtered water, approx, more as needed
3 cup baby spinach leaves, washed
1 cup fresh basil, washed and stems removed
2 tablespoon tahini
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
2 sm banana, peeled and cut up
2 peaches, remove pit and cut up
1 gala apple, cored and cut up
1 teaspoon whole raw sesame seeds, garnish
fresh basil sprigs as needed, garnish
Recipe Directions
Add water and leaves to blender and blend with lid on until smooth.
Add tahini and ginger and blend
Add fruit a bit at a time and blend until smooth.
Serve at room temp or chill if desired.
Pour in one big glass or two smaller ones. Could be served in bowls as a side dish.
Garnish with whole sesame seeds and a sprig of basil if desired

I was going to say some cayenne or even jalapeno if you can stand it.

Hmmm, I have some basil in the fridge right now, I may have to try this tonight. Sounds like it will have a zing to it. I don't have ginger though. What could I use as a substitute?

wow... this shounds awesome! Caleb...you should get ginger, but you could add a dash of cayenne for a similar kick.
