YieldOne 9-inch pie
2 cups almonds (soaked 24 hours)
4 to 6 dates (pitted)
4 bananas (frozen)
3 fresh bananas
3 tablespoons carob powder
1 to 2 teaspoons mint extract
Carob chips (for garnish)
1. Alternate putting almonds and dates in juicer with blank plate. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
2. Freeze for 2 hours.
3. Process filling ingredients.
4. Pour into pie crust and garnish with carob chips. Put in freezer for 2 hours.
5. When ready to serve, let soften in fridge for 30 minutes.
