I have been vegan for the past 3.5 years and the last 8 months I have been raw. Multiple food allergies is what brought me along this path. I have allergies towards all gluten (wheat, oat, spelt, the list goes on) and sulfates/sulfites/sulfur, a food preservative found in many things; it just made more sense for me to be raw since the only thing I have to question is dried fruit. I love being in the kitchen and most of all I love that a lot of simple raw dishes take less time to prepare then cooking all of your meals..
