Hi there! My name is Kelsey and I'm new to the raw vegan movement. I've been working my way up to 100% raw for about a month now and I'm loving it so far. I just bought a Vitamix (which is my new love!) and I'm just starting to play with "dehydrating" stuff in the oven. I wanted to go raw (and vegan) for my health, as I have some weird digestive issues. So far, it seems to be helping! I got into the lifestyle via 80/10/10 blogers and YouTube personalities, but I'm still working to educate myself as to if that low of a fat intake is okay. I'm trying to be serious about raw food and make sure I'm educated about what I'm doing, but I also don't want to be the raw food police. My spirit animal right now is Laura Miller (check out Raw, Vegan, Not Gross, her YouTube show!) who doesn't seem to take the raw movement too seriously. I love the rawtarian's site so far becuase there are so many new recipes to consider, and its so educational about the raw movement.
