1 cup cashews (soaked about an hour
2 cups water
1 green cardamon pod
1/4 inch cinnamon stick
Pinch of saffron
1 teaspoon vanilla bean or extract
2 to 3 tablespoons agave
1/4 cup chia seeds
Pistachios (for garnish)
1. Throw everything but the chia and pistachios in the Vitamix and blend until it's yellow and liquefied.
2. Put chia seeds in a big bowl. Pour saffron 'milk' over the chia and stir.
3. Refrigerate about an hour or overnight.
4. Garnish with pistachios (rose petals could be used, too) and eat.
I adore Indian sweets and milky desserts!
This one is a near replica of the original flavor!
