Joined March 26, 2009<p>There is so much fine print that one never thinks to discuss, but is instantly covered by the phrase, ‘for better or for worse.’ My marriage vows came with a lifetime commitment to bicycles; road, touring, mountain and full-suspension, downhill beauties. I tripped over them at night, banged my shins on them while riding, and attempted to retain my dignity when I crashed in public. I’ve had to agree that a two bedroom apartment is actually intended for bike maintenance an not guests, all people need trucks, and that some men find padded shorts sexy. And even after my marriage fizzled into just a great friendship, I still have bikes. They are my hobby, my energy, my freedom, my career, my friend maker, my transportation, my muse, my rainy day, my sunny day, my adventure and my love.</p>
