Recipe Directions

blend almond pulp, maple syrup, pinch of salt and 4 T coco oil till smooth. then shape the mixture into little donut hole sized balls and dehydrate for a 3 hours. after brush the balls with the coconiut-olive oil mixture; after roll the balls in the date sugar mixture. dehydrate again until desired crispiness.
**maple syrup is not raw but i use it any way; if anyone tries this out with dates or any other raw sweetner let me know how it turns out :)

Nice, my recipes using almond pulp never seemed to turn out too good. So thank you for this recipe!

sounds great! i used to buy dates/date sugar directly from china ranch in the death valley region of california/nevada border (near dumont dunes) http://www.chinaranch.com/products.html (date sugar is not listed on this page but they do make/sell it.) i do not know how they make it (raw or not) but the people who own and care for the date ranch/land are really great > they LOVE their dates/land etc! i am sure you can email/call them to find out. please do let us know if/when you do!

This looks like a great recipe to use up the almond pulp. Do you buy your date sugar at whole foods? I've never seen it. Is it refined or just blended up dates and dehydrated? This looks great- thanks!
