apples, peeled & cored
pears, peeled & cored
agave nectar, to taste
fresh orange juice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
.125 teaspoon nutmeg
dried currants or sun dried raisins
butternut squash, peeled, seeds removed and spiralized or shredded
Prepare butternut squash (will soften more if you rub a pinch of salt into strands and let sit for a few minutes). Process the remaining ingredients in food processor, then add a few dried currents (these are just like very tiny raisins and taste the same to me!) or sun-dried raisins before serving (optional)
