Recipe Directions
1. Blend all dry ingredients in a food processor until crumbly.
2. Add dates and blend until dough sticks together.
3. Press into 2 small springform pans.
4. Remove from pans.
5. Shortly before serving, ice both layers thickly with chocolate mousse (I used this one by Ani Phyo). Place one layer atop the other.

Hi
Thanks for this cool recipe.
I just made it...well I guess you could say I used the recipe as a base to spring from (since I didn't have all the specific ingredients: I modified and got creative too :) )
I put together
1 c walnuts
1 c cashews
1 c almonds
with about 1 c pitted prunes
a couple Tbls of coconut oil
vanilla
and cardamom pods (mmmm mmmm good)
a pinch of salt
processed it all in the food processor adding a bit of agave and whatever necessary from above to get a good consistency for the 'cake'.
Now for the topping
I used lucuma powder
coconut oil
almond flour
and a touch of maple syrup
with some fresh cardamom pods
a pinch of salt
and a dash of cinnamon and cloves
perfect addition to the thanksgiving meal
