A Community Recipe by Maxinatux
This recipe came as a result of a request from my daughter. She asked if I could I make a raw version of the cooked broccoli cheese casserole we used to make? I took the challenge and the result was so successful that the rest of the family loved it. We hope you do, too!

It was very nice. My young (4 y.o.) daughter loved it, as did my mom. I'm not a big broccoli fan, but I love the concept and creativity that went in to this dish! Thanks!

Hmmm, mike4973, all the wild rice that I've been able to find has been roasted. Where do you get yours? I would really love to find a place that sells the raw stuff.

Yum, this was sooo good! I don't have a dehydrator yet so I set my oven on the lowest setting and opened up the door and put the casserole in for a few minutes. It was delicious! And the leftovers that I ate straight out of the fridge tasted just as good. Thanks for sharing!

progressivechick, hope you like it. The original recipe also has rice in it. I was thinking that one could soak some wild rice and add that, except, unfortunately, I don't think wild rice is raw, at least I haven't found any, yet. I guess it could still be added if a person was okay with that. It could make a good transition food.
