Recipe Directions

1. Break banana up and put it in the blender first. Then pour in orange juice.

2. Drop in broccoli, followed by spinach, and then ice (it’ll blend really easily this way).

3. Blend together and enjoy!

KhaasLadki's Thoughts

By KhaasLadki

I was craving broccoli last night but I didn’t feel like chewing anything, so I put together this powerful and very filling green smoothie.

Kept me full for hours!

The broccoli gives this a really cool flavor. Don’t know how to describe it other than just try it!

You could probably use frozen banana and fresh broccoli instead, but I used what I had. Don’t worry--I freeze my own broccoli without blanching it.

Yes, as I dumped the broccoli in the blender I thought, "What in the world are you doing?" but I did it anyway - I was too curious.
