I tried it (with tahini and chocolate) and it was indeed very, very yummy!
Just make sure to make your own nut/seed butter, with fresh, raw nuts/seeds to keep things fresh and raw. :-)

Dates are also very high in fiber so the sugar is not absorbed as quickly, but rather slowly digested. My mother-in-law is diabetic and not only loves dates but can eat them, because they don't spike her blood sugar. However, she only eat a few (2-3) as a snack.

I believe it is erroneous to list it as diabetic friendly, as dates are a highly concentrated sweet and not appropriate for a diabetic diet.
Other than that, it sounds delicious. Kids will love it!

So glad you enjoyed it :) Tahini doesn't agree with me so I have to eat it sparingly :( I love the taste! This sounds wonderful

Indysay's Review
Butter Bombs (Kid & Diabetic Friendly)
Upside: This is a great easy to make sweet fix for anyone raw, and at least for myself, I had all these ingredients on hand.
Downside: This was so rich! I am not sure I will make this again. I prefer eating raw cashews and dates. Not as sweet.
Overall:
I appreciate the ease and quickness of this recipe, but believe it's too rich for me.
