Recipe Directions

1. Mix everything and let rest for 15 minutes.

2. Stir to breakup any clumping of the chia. At this point, if it's too thick, just add another tablespoon of nut milk and stir. Then put in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes.

My first post. Everyone, let me know.

This is the best. I made this the other day, and it reminds me of real pudding.

Enjoy.

Try adding cinnamon, cayenne, banana slices, sprouted buckwheat and anything else that comes from the creative heart! (I'm eating it right now!)

Oh my word! I am addicted to this pudding...I have to watch it as Chia can make things move a little speedy and I want to eat it at every meal. Thanks for the great idea!

I always make this whenever I have nut milk around. I also add cinnamon and cayenne for that Mayan taste.

I made this for breakfast this morning and added cinnamon and a little cayenne... YUM! And it was nicely filling, too.

So you're saying, it's the tapioca of the seed world?

Forrestlyone--chia has a really mild flavor, to me it is almost tasteless, but perhaps just slightly nutty. Plus, it absorbs whatever liquid it is in, so it ends up tasting like the liquid, not like itself. The texture after it has been soaked is like very small, soft tapioca. I think it is fantastic, and it has incredible health benefits, too.

I think this or, an adaptation of this, would make a cake creamier than just adding liquid. Thanks, I'm going to try this.

Fascinating combination! I would not have thought of combining chia w/cacao.
