20 1 x 1 inch bars
Ingredients
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1 cup extra virgin coconut oil
1/2 cup cashew butter
1/3 cup agave nectar
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS
1 cup pecans
1 cup oat groats (soaked overnight, drained)
6 to 7 large dates
Recipe Directions
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1. Place all ingredients in the Vitamix. Blend until smooth.
CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS
2. Place dates in food processor. Process until paste like and place in a large bowl.
3. Place oat groats in food processor and process until grains are broken.
4. Then add pecans and process until combined.
5. Mix the oat groats and pecans into the dates mixture. Use hands to mix until well incorporated.
6. Form into square or rectangular with about 1/2 inch thick.
7. Spread the chocolate sauce on top and then freeze for 30 minutes.
8. Cut it up into pieces and snack!

Oh wowy!!! These look amazing! What can I use instead of oats because I'm not allowed to eat grains (can't eat buckwheat either). Thanks!!

I have not tried it with buckwheat. Oat groats have a great consistency and it tastes oaty.
