This is a wonderful juice for fall and winter. Full of ginger and lemon to give an invigorating boost. It could also be a soup, if blended until warm without the ice cubes.

If I may be so bold as to offer something in the way of a suggestion...
I made this juice tonight via juicer, so it may be that in deviating from your recipe, I have lost some of the texture or flavor of your original intention. However, my wife and I found it ok, but not quite perfect. So me being the culinary experimentalist that I am, I added a dash of cinnamon simply out of scientific curiosity. And voila, it pulled the flavor of the onion, ginger, and apple out very nicely over the otherwise overpowering carrot. I would add just one or two dashes of cinnamon to this recipe.
Other than that, I give you nothing but praise, my dearest Bronwyn. This drink is quick and easy to make, and it might save me a few minutes in the AMs. I'll post the smoothie I make every morning for breakfast sometime in the near future when I am less exhausted. Then you can critique mine! :)
