Recipe Directions

1. Put some rice on your hand with a little salt.

2. Next, put your favorite food in the center. For example, umeboshi (pickled plum), salmon, soy-sauced seaweed.

3. Hold and shape it with both hands with love. Don’t use kitchen wrap. It will ruin your love!

4. Next, wrap it with nori, a kind of seaweed looking like black paper. You eat it directly from your hand.

It keeps for a long time. And it is easy to carry. You usually take it on a picnic. It’s very delicious! Let’s try!

Onigiri is a Japanese dish.

I figured I could make the dish raw by using a food processor and processing the cauliflower until it looked like rice and by making the inside ingredient be seaweed soaked in noma shoy.

Says "Quote taken from" but nothing after. Also is the pic of real onigiri or the cauliflower ones? How do you get the cauliflower to stick in shape?

You don't have to dehydrate the seaweed after soaking it.
