My mom actually had the Orange Julius recipe when I was a kid (it was from one of those "trade secret" cookbooks). It was roughly 1 cup OJ, 1 cup water, 1 cup ice, a dash of vanilla, .25 cup sugar (!!!), and 1-2 raw egg whites (most versions I've seen use milk, but the original used egg white for frothiness). I remember it well because I was obsessed with it. But this one sounds much better. :)
