1 tablespoon poemomm's real cream cheese
¾ cup macadamia nuts
1¼ cups water
1. Take one tablespoon of the cream cheese and blend it through a runny macadamia milk.
2. Leave overnight. I left it last night on the counter to see what would happen.

If you have seen my recent posts, you’ll be aware I am smitten with poemomm’s beautiful cream cheese recipe, and I am curious to see just how vegan these Lactobacillus can become.
Purists should note I was once told for full ‘bug’ assimilation, it’s better not to mix yogurt with fruit and sweeteners.
Next morning, there was a firmer crust on top and a moderately tart, thick, creamy yogurt underneath. Will it go another batch? I intend to find out!

I celebrated with a sundae of the yogurt, some biodynamic mango, bee’s knees strawberries, and a kiss of maple syrup.
